During Dementia Action Week, we acted. We held a free webinar exploring how finger foods can help improve each day for those with dementia within an Aged care setting. Did you know that Dementia is the second leading cause of death of all Australians and the leading cause of death for women? It is so common, that more than 421,000 Australians are estimated to be living with all forms of dementia in 2024.
Dementia affects so many at home in the community and across aged care. Food, nutrition and the dining experience is an important way to improve a person’s wellbeing and quality of life.
