Food Safety Level 1:
Basic Food Handling course

Understand the basic context of all fundamental food safety principals with our Food Safety Level 1 Accredited training course. Anyone who handles food is considered a Food Handler and requires food safety training! It is a legal requirement that anyone who handles, prepares, cleans, or serves food as part of their job must be trained in food safety.

This is a nationally accredited food safety course through our RTO.

Why do I need an Accredited Food Safety Level 1 course?
If you are a food handler within a Class 1 food premise, you are required, by law, to have an accredited food safety training. Class 1 food premises are those that handle potentially hazardous food that is served to vulnerable groups, such as in Hospitals, Childcare centres, and Aged Care facilities.
We have targeted our Food Safety Level 1 course for Food Handlers in the Hospitality or Health and community service sector. Suitable for all people working within Aged Care facility, Childcare centre, Kindergartens, Disability services, Hospitals, Meals on wheels and Outside School Hours Care.
Not only for kitchen staff
Think Clinical Staff, Childcare educators, cleaners and centre mangers too. The list goes on! It is everyone responsibility to keep our elderly and children safe. Remember, anyone who handles, prepares, cleans, or serves food as part of their job must be trained in food safety.
