Covering everything from is there a cure, to Diabetics Diets, how to monitor children with diabetes, side effects to what snacks, desserts and veggies to eat. By holding this free webinar, releasing articles and education sessions, our Team at OSCAR Care Group are passionately helping to educate all Australians today to protect them for tomorrow.

Diabetes is a chronic metabolic disease characterised by elevated levels of blood glucose which leads over time to serious damage to the heart, blood vessels, eyes, kidneys and nerves. The most common is type 2, usually in adults, which occurs when the body becomes resistant to insulin or does not make enough insulin.

According to the World Health Organisation, the prevalence of type 2 diabetes has risen dramatically in the past 30 years. About 422 million people worldwide have diabetes, the majority living in low-and middle-income countries, and 1.5 million deaths are directly attributed to diabetes each year.
