2025: A Year of Growth

Who can believe how quickly this year has gone! This year has been a blur and I don’t think our feet have touched the ground.

Conversations and collaboration with industry leaders in the Aged Care and Child Care space gave us the knowledge and expectation of the sectors which aligned with our Business Plan and goals for the coming years. The push for diverse offerings, challenging the normal from competitors provided key guidance. With the huge push to switch to online management systems with so many on the market, our clients have shared a mixed bag of information about quality and processes. With staff shortages and key skill sets missing in the sectors, we have found our clients were keen to establish programs and processes that work rather than the latest tech. We are so lucky to be able to offer both and all.

The national roll out of Food Safety compliance solutions for Medical & Aged Care Group and Baptcare as well as a consolidated change for YMCA VIC, were the chance to grow our Food Safety team and bring on talented Food Safety experts.

Planning and adjusting to the expanding acquisitions of Estia Health and Respect Care and other clients gave us an insight into what is involved on the ground level. Our clients lead the industry in looking after their teams, residents and facilities and we thoroughly enjoy being part of that process.

Our first Child Care workshop in August was an amazing success. The event we held at the Novotel Glen Waverly bought together Childcare chefs and educators to learn all about Growing Good Eaters. The feedback we received was so amazing and plans for this space are in full swing. The childcare space is changing with compliance, care and safety all a priority.

Attending the Ageing Australia National Conference on the Gold Coast as an attendee rather than an exhibitor gave me the chance to listen and see what the industry needs. Always good to catch up with clients and suppliers in the industry. It was wonderful to catch up with old friends and put a face to a few names.

2026

Our plans for 2026 and beyond are huge and large and so very exciting. We can’t wait to enter the new year with new offerings and signing off new projects.

Our staff across Australia are the very best! We have had a huge year and their effort, care and commitment to our business and our clients is so amazing. As always, so very grateful for the people that choose OSCAR Care Group for their career journey.
