About the event
Did you know that dementia affects many residents across aged care? Thinking, behaviour, ability to perform everyday tasks and nutrition status are all affected.
This education will explore dementia and eating, the ‘dementia diet’, swallowing difficulties and loss of appetite.
Did you know that residents with dementia may be at greater risk of weight loss and malnutrition? We will also dive into a case study and Dietitian recommendations to minimise the risk of weight loss. Let’s explore these to maximise the enjoyment of meals and snacks for residents and encourage greater food intake. Join us for the FREE Aged Care Education with our Dietitian, Chloe Charlesworth.
We look forward to seeing you then!
