About the event

The next webinar in our food myth series is focusing on our older Australians in Aged care. Malnutrition is far too common in the elderly population with statistics showing up to 50% of residents in aged care homes are malnourished or at risk of malnutrition. Now is your chance to submit your question as we debunk common elderly nutrition myths aiming to improve resident’s quality of life. This FREE webinar is presented by our amazing Accredited Practising Dietitian, Sarah!

What Aged Care Elderly nutrition myths will we be busting?

Well, that’s up to you! What food myths have you heard? Do you have a simple question that you’ve been too shy to ask? Or what would you like confirmed by a Dietitian? It might be related to your line of work (Aged Care home), or to you personally or a family member. Let us know what you would like us to talk about.

The common elderly nutrition myths we hear:

  • Older people don't need to eat as much.
  • I should lose weight in my older years.
  • Every resident needs to drink a supplement.

Give us your ideas when you RSVP!

See you there!

Please note: we will be focusing on nutrition for older Australians aged 65+ within the residential Aged Care setting. If you have another question for us, please email us your interest and we’ll let you know if when we create a nutrition Webinar for another demographic.
